Architect - Development
Responsibilities
- Manage the evaluation, identification, development, and implementation of software solutions.
- Define, document and record designs and modifications of application or software.
- Locate and direct solutions for critical challenges involving software and hardware interface.
- Identify and resolve failures within existing and newly developed software systems and programs.
- Design real-time and batch system interfaces and data enrichment pipelines in a cloud-native data ecosystem.
- Guide through all phases of software development life cycle (SDLC) and provide customer technical support.
- Solution analysis and design, balancing technical and business aspects.
- Troubleshoot production issues of all levels and severities, tracks progress from identification through resolution and ensure best practices are followed.
- Work with IT leadership and business partners to design features for the cloud platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree - Computer Science, Information Technology or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 7 years experience in a lead development role.
- 5+ years experience in common programming and data languages, for example, JAVA, Python, SQL, .NET, API, or Data Base, etc.
- Strong working knowledge of Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Adept at conducting research into project-related issues.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Pay
Compensation Details: $93,937 - $126,815 Annually. This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements. For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable plan documents. For certain sales roles, Wesco also offers a commission structure that provides additional compensation based on sales results, as defined by the applicable commission plan.
