Architect, Data - 250 Day - Open Until Filled

Overview

This position plays a pivotal role in leading the architecture, design, and implementation of our next generation data solutions. The position is responsible for architecting and engineering data pipelines, platforms, integrations, and products on modern cloud platforms, such as Snowflake, Databricks, and/or Azure. Collaborating closely with the data leadership team, the incumbent shapes the long-term vision, cloud adoption roadmaps, future-state analytical architecture, and data governance frameworks necessary for this transformation.

Responsibilities

• Architect and engineer data pipelines, platforms, integrations, and products on modern cloud platforms like Snowflake, Databricks, and/or Azure
• Collaborate with the data leadership team to shape the long-term vision, cloud adoption roadmaps, future-state analytical architecture, and data governance frameworks
• Lead the development and implementation of data solutions that drive business insights and analytics
• Ensure alignment with company-wide data strategy and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture, engineering, and/or product management
• Experience with modern cloud platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, Azure)
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration techniques
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality data solutions
• Experience with data governance and regulatory compliance
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Skills

• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling
• Knowledge of data warehousing technologies (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery)
