Architect, Cybersecurity, Identity Security - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Architect, Cybersecurity, Identity Security - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will shape enterprise identity security architecture in support of digital transformation, Zero Trust goals, and resilient access management across a complex global environment. The ideal candidate will partner closely with cybersecurity, cloud engineering, and other technical teams to design standards, govern controls, and strengthen authentication, authorization, and privileged access capabilities. You will also evaluate emerging identity technologies and guide architectural decisions that improve security, scalability, and risk posture. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $135,600 – $225,900 annually Responsibilities Design and maintain enterprise identity security architecture and standards Develop identity strategies supporting Zero Trust Architecture and digital transformation Architect authentication and authorization solutions, including SSO and MFA Lead architecture reviews for IAM projects and cloud implementations Govern Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions and identity controls Conduct identity threat modeling and risk assessments Evaluate emerging identity technologies and propose architectural enhancements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline Minimum 8 years of experience in cybersecurity or identity management Minimum 3 years of experience designing enterprise IAM architectures Experience implementing SSO, MFA, PAM, Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), and directory services Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Okta, Ping Identity, SailPoint, CyberArk, or similar technologies, including cloud identity security across Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Benefits Work flexibility with a remote option Technical leadership and mentorship opportunities Exposure to advanced identity security technologies Opportunity to collaborate across various departments including cybersecurity and cloud engineering Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
