This job opportunity is available at ANY location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a JACOBS U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the "best" candidates.
Responsibilities
- Join our team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery.
- Design various types of buildings using mainly Revit and plan and program layouts of projects, coordinating and integrating all other discipline elements into unified design for client review and approval.
- Research programs, plans, designs, and administers building projects for clients, applying knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials for clients.
- Conduct periodic on-site observation of work during construction to monitor compliance with detailed design documents.
- Prepare quantitative data (e.g. material take-offs) to support construction cost estimates.
- Monitor architectural project scope development and changes, tracking adjustments to the projected project construction cost.
Requirements
- At least 10 years’ related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
- Registered Architect is required (RA)
- Demonstrated program experience of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, basic rendering and publishing programs, and Microsoft Office suite
- Expert level of experience using Bluebeam
- Familiarity with building code requirements
- Strong organizational, communications (both verbal and written) skills, and leadership abilities
- Ability to effectively coordinate with internal architectural and engineering team members
- Ability to travel

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $102,900.00 to $141,500.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
