About the role
We are seeking an experienced Architectural Millwork Project Manager to play an integral role in facilitating project execution throughout the purchasing phase and managing the supply chain on behalf of the client. You will plan, organize, implement, and execute project procurement. This role requires combining design and project management skills, focusing on the "what" and "why" of a product. Key skills include 2D modeling (CAD), understanding materials and manufacturing, and market analysis, while project management involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle from conception to delivery, budget management, and stakeholder communication. This role blends creative design strategy and business execution, ensuring the final furniture product is functional, aesthetically pleasing, and successful.
Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, implement, and execute project procurement.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from conception to delivery, including planning, coordination, and execution.
- Manage project budgets to ensure delivery within financial constraints.
- Communicate vision, objectives, and progress clearly with designers, engineers, manufacturers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proficiency in 2D modeling, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong understanding of architectural principles to translate client needs and project requirements into functional designs.
- Knowledge of materials science, manufacturing processes, and ergonomics for developing practical and high-quality furniture.
- 10 years of experience in a relevant role.
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
