Responsibilities
- Lead space planning and architectural design for government and institutional facilities
- Develop comprehensive design documents that align with NFPA 101 and ADA standards
- Cook up integrated project design with various engineering consultants
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes and design criteria
- Conduct detailed analyses for space optimization and safety
- Utilize advanced architectural software for design visualization
- Support construction administration through detailed review processes
Qualifications
- Architecture Degree from an accredited College/University
- 8+ years of design experience with commercial, industrial and/or government facilities
- Experience in evaluating building enclosures including roofing and below-grade waterproofing
- Experience in design, failure analysis, and Enclosure Commissioning activities
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Suitability
