• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify technical inaccuracies and inconsistencies
• Ability to work independently while following detailed written guidelines
• Demonstrated professionalism, sound judgment, and a commitment to handling sensitive or proprietary information with discretion

Overview

Handshake is seeking experienced Plan Examiners, Technical Architects, Architect Technicians, and Architectural Technicians to support AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. This is not a traditional architecture, design, or permitting role. Instead, you'll apply your real-world expertise reviewing construction documents, interpreting building plans, and evaluating technical drawings to help improve AI systems. You'll review AI-generated content, assess it for technical accuracy and relevance, and provide feedback that helps AI better understand architectural documentation, building codes, construction drawings, technical communication, and industry best practices. This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity that can be done alongside your primary employment.
