Summary
This role sits within a high-growth data center design organization focused on delivering next-generation, AI-optimized infrastructure at global scale. As a Data Center Design Architect, you will lead architectural scope across complex, high-density data center projects from concept through construction and handover.
Responsibilities
- Lead architectural design development for new data center builds and retrofits from concept through construction documentation and site handover
- Cookordination architectural scope with mechanical, electrical, structural, security, and controls systems
- Ensure compliance with building codes, fire/life safety standards, and operational requirements
- Conduct design reviews covering space planning, circulation, headcount modeling, and standards alignment
- Review and validate construction drawings and specifications from internal teams and external AEC vendors
- Serve as escalation point for site-specific localization challenges and code adaptation
- Manage external architecture and engineering partners across all design phases
- Use Revit, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud to coordinate and review design documentation
- Leverage Python and Dynamo scripting to improve workflow automation and team efficiency
- Communicate technical architectural concepts clearly to leadership, construction teams, and global stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil, Structural, or Chartered Engineering
- 3+ years as a Licensed Architect with NCARB certification
- Experience supporting multi-phased mission-critical or hyperscale projects
- Exposure to AI infrastructure facilities and GPU compute density requirements
- Experience developing automated Revit workflows and design standards
Compensation & Benefits
- The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $96.15 – $120.19 per hour, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
