Architect

Responsibilities

• Manage planning and coordination of assigned projects through all phases of design
• Develop and manage construction documentation
• Afford and investigate material selection and systems
• Plan, assign, direct, coordinate and manage work flow and ensure quality control review of work
• Cook up and manage less complex projects with minimal guidance
• Review shop drawings and material samples
• Prepare change drawings and coordinate with the Construction Administrator when working on projects in the construction phase

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required, accredited Architectural Degree preferred
• 5+ years of experience working in a professional design firm
• Demonstrated proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite
• Strong rendering skills is a plus
• General experience in all phases of architecture and substantial experience in the development of construction documents
• Thorough knowledge of architectural drafting and modeling, detailing, building materials, building codes and construction
• Strong architecture design, space planning, construction documentation and presentation skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MINNEAPOLIS, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
