About the role

Your role will include delivering excellence in all phases of projects, from planning through construction administration and close-out, maintaining firm-wide quality standards while working closely with technical leadership and engineering discipline leads to understand design intent and goals for successful implementation for various building design projects.

Responsibilities

  • Research, program, plan, design, and administer building projects for clients in a variety of industries (examples include data center, commercial and advanced manufacturing).
  • Apply knowledge of architectural design, work on zoning, building codes, and building systems and materials.
  • Utilize technical expertise to mentor other professionals including less experienced Architects and Designers working closely with technical and engineering discipline leads.
  • Deliver advanced technology facilities with clients and produce cutting edge design solutions supporting the development of AI and other critical facilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor in Architecture from an accredited Architectural Program
  • 5+ years of professional experience
  • Demonstrated program experience in the usage of Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office and Adobe suite
  • Extensive experience with building codes and other regulations
  • Understanding of scopes of work, developing budgets, and reviewing schedules
  • Ability to work well across multiple teams and lead small architectural teams
  • Ability to travel to project sites in the US

Qualifications

  • Ideal candidate should ideally be located near a JACOBS U.S. based office, but we intend to hire the "best" candidates.
  • Masters in Architecture
  • Professional Architectural License and be able to be licensed in multiple states
  • Experience with designing advanced facilities (Data Centers, Life Science or other Industrial Facilities that also include office environments)
  • Participation in professional organizations
  • LEED AP credentials

Skills

  • Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Have a deep understanding of sustainable design principles and practices
  • Be proficient in using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant software

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $91,400.00 to $125,600.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

This is a hybrid all US location opportunity, allowing candidates the flexibility to work remotely and report into a local Jacobs office for team meetings and collaboration.
