Architect/Architectural Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Project Architect in Akron, OH, with 5+ years of renovation and new construction experience, AutoCAD proficiency, and knowledge of IBC. We are a nationally recognized and nationally licensed architecture firm specializing in retail tenant improvement design and development within new and existing covered malls, open-air malls, and lifestyle centers. We cater to the needs of high-profile retail clients throughout the United States and Canada. Our success in retaining clients is predicated on the exceptional service and professionalism we provide. Responsibilities

• Prepare construction documents, develop technical solutions, and work directly with clients and consultants.
• Participate in client meetings throughout the design and construction document process.
• Provide construction administration support throughout the construction phase.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Required).
• Bachelor of Architecture or significant retail experience.
• Five or more years of experience with renovations and new construction (Required).
• Knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC).
