About the Role
Baker Barrios Architects is seeking a talented and motivated Architect 2 to join our team. This position is designed for licensed architects or non-registered graduates with 6 to 8 years of professional experience. The Architect 2 will focus on the technical design of project documentation under the supervision of the Project Manager. As part of the BBA team, individuals in this role will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the firm’s culture, approach, and standards, while continuing to grow professionally and develop leadership skills.
Qualifications
- 6 to 8 years of professional experience in architecture, with a strong background in project documentation and technical design.
- Professional registration is preferred. If not yet registered, candidates should be actively working towards licensure.
- Strong project management skills, with experience managing large and complex projects from design through to completion.
- Ability to forecast and navigate potential project challenges, ensuring positive outcomes.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal) to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and stakeholders
- Proficiency with Revit and project management software, including Ajera, Microsoft Office, Newforma, and other relevant tools.
