About the role

The successful candidate will lead archaeological projects, manage teams, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead archaeological projects from inception to completion
  • Manage project teams and coordinate with stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Prepare and submit required permits and documentation
  • Oversee fieldwork and laboratory analysis
  • Write reports and present findings to clients and regulatory bodies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in archaeology
  • Knowledge of archaeological methods and techniques
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong writing and reporting skills

Qualifications

  • Passport and ability to travel internationally
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Experience with GIS software
  • Knowledge of cultural resource management practices

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
