About the role
The successful candidate will lead archaeological projects, manage teams, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Lead archaeological projects from inception to completion
- Manage project teams and coordinate with stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Prepare and submit required permits and documentation
- Oversee fieldwork and laboratory analysis
- Write reports and present findings to clients and regulatory bodies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, or related field
- At least 5 years of professional experience in archaeology
- Knowledge of archaeological methods and techniques
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong writing and reporting skills
Qualifications
- Passport and ability to travel internationally
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience with GIS software
- Knowledge of cultural resource management practices
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
