Arcade Technician Associate

About the role

The Technician oversees, maintains, and repairs arcade machines and bowling machines in an amusement arcade setting.

Responsibilities

• Responds to customer complaints of machine malfunction; analyzes the mechanism to find the root of the problem.
• Aid the Facility Manager with the installation, maintenance, and repairs of both mechanical and circuitry issues in the arcade games and/or bowling machines.
• Identify the most common problems with components such as controls and audio systems.
• Perform maintenance and repair tasks.
• Keep a clean and organized workshop.
• Work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays, as well as overtime to support business needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Strong sense of customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Solid communication skills, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation for diversity.
