Arcade Associate

About the role

Responsibilities

• During assigned shifts, engage customers to determine whether their needs are met.
• Maintain inventory levels in amusement games.
• Maintain games and counters clean and visibly attractive to customers.
• Respond responsively and politely with a friendly demeanor to customers’ requests.
• Answer phone calls for all general inquiries.
• Perform special projects and other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.
• Conduct alcohol and age restriction control by company policies.
• Conduct lost and found procedures according to company policies.
• Seek constant improvement or more efficient and less expensive ways in department work processes.
• Comply and maintain confidentiality of all company policies and procedures.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working area.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one to two years of experience in a hospitality or retail environment.
• Open availability, especially opening and closing shifts, are preferred.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust, and activity can be expected. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb, and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
• Required to stand and walk for extended periods without breaks during busy times.
• Must be able to use hands/fingers to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Lifting and/or moving up to 100 lbs with assistance is required.
