ARC Sales and Production Associate

Responsibilities

• Aid in creating a pleasant and hospitable work environment and maintain good customer relationships.
• Assist with store operations, serve all customers in a courteous and efficient manner, handle all donations with care, and maintain merchandise as directed.
• Maintain a clean and clutter-free work area and immediately report any theft, customer complaints, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.
• Support the work therapy program by providing professional conduct, work habits, and supervision as directed by Supervisor.
• Perform cashier/sales floor duties including cash handling, sorting, pricing, stocking, and restocking merchandise.
• Handle miscellaneous merchandise donations, sort and clean them, and assign fair market prices.
• Operate as a runner, placing and maintaining merchandise on racks, and assist with ragging out and baling.
• Perform tasks related to bric a brac, shoes/accessories, domestics, books/records/toys, and furniture/electrical donations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, bathrooms, entry, windows, sidewalks, and parking areas, and ensure a constant flow of donations to the sorting table.
• Assist with ragging out and baling as needed, and perform lawn and garden work as required.

• Ability to speak and understand English for effective communication.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
