Arborist Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Visit client properties to assess tree and shrub care needs
• Provide scientific tree and shrub care recommendations
• Meet with existing and potential clients daily to evaluate their needs
• Develop and maintain positive business and client relationships
• Sell, market, and administer tree and shrub care services
• Implement and enforce safety, transportation, and pesticide compliance programs
• Train and supervise staff to ensure job completion

Requirements

• 1-3 years of related experience in the tree care industry or prior sales experience
• ISA Arborist Certification or ability to obtain (company will pay for exam and preparation)
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to identify trees and shrubs common to the region, diagnose pests and diseases, and recommend corrective action or proactive management plans
• Preferred degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture or a related field

Pay

$65,000 - $110,000 annual draw plus commission
