Midwest Tree & Landscape is a family-owned tree service based in North Prairie, Wisconsin, serving Waukesha County and surrounding areas. We specialize in tree removals, pruning, crane-assisted removals, storm cleanup, and land clearing. We take pride in quality work, safe practices, and a crew that works together.

Responsibilities

• Safely climb trees to perform pruning and removals using appropriate climbing equipment and techniques.
• Set up and operate rigging systems to lower branches and wood safely.
• Assess trees and job sites for hazards and communicate concerns with the crew.
• Work closely with the foreman and ground crew to complete jobs safely and efficiently.
• Operate chainsaws and other tree care equipment properly.
• Assist with crane removals, storm cleanup, and ground operations as needed.
• Inspect and maintain climbing gear, ropes, tools, and equipment.
• Follow company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.
• Treat customers, coworkers, and customer property with respect.

Qualifications

• Previous professional tree climbing experience with confidence performing pruning and removals.
• Knowledge of climbing systems, knots, rigging techniques, and chainsaw safety.
• ISA Certified Arborist credential preferred, or a willingness to work toward certification.
• Dependable, punctual, and available for full-time work out of our North Prairie shop.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• Ability to perform the essential physical duties of tree work, including climbing, lifting, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the shop.
• CDL, aerial lift experience, and crane removal experience are a plus.
