About the role

We're seeking an Arabic (Yemeni) language expert to contribute to the development of advanced AI systems. Your skills in Yemeni Arabic, including phonetics, morphology, syntax, regional dialects, colloquial expressions, and cultural references, will be crucial in shaping the next generation of AI.

Responsibilities

• Challenge advanced language models on topics like contextual interpretation, dialectical distinctions, semantic accuracy, and cultural nuance.
• Document every failure mode encountered during model testing.
• Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
• Converse with the model in Yemeni Arabic across a wide range of topics.
• Verify linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Capture reproducible error traces.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Linguistics, Arabic Studies, Translation, or a related field.
• Professional experience in teaching, translation, language documentation, or community work.
• Clear, metacognitive communication skills.
