AR Representative II (Remote)

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned corporate accounts and ensure timely collections on outstanding balances.
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on past-due invoices via email and phone.
• Maintain strong relationships directly with B2B clients to ensure smooth payment processes.
• Determine write-offs (month end and small amount).
• Apply customer payments, adjustments, and credit memos accurately.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and disputes.
• Coincide with internal teams (Sales, Account Executive, Customer Service, and Finance) to resolve AR-related concerns.
• Make recommendations to Supervisor for collection of past due accounts.
• Provide clients with invoice copies, statements, and payment confirmations upon request.
• Maintain accurate customer records, collection notes, and account history in the system.
• Prepare weekly and monthly AR reports for Account Executive review.
• Research returned mail and bank correspondence (i.e., short- & over-payments).
• Independently manage AR and escalations.
• Payment Research and Credit validation support when needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable, Billing, or Finance (corporate/B2B experience is a must).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; knowledge of Gaviti is a plus!
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines.
• Deadline-oriented, organized, good time management, and detail oriented.
• Effective oral/written communication skills.
• Problem solving skills are important daily tasks.
• Flexible, team player and able to partner with all levels of management.
• Must be able to work CST or EST hours.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred.
