Aquatics Club Associate Head Coach (Full-Time)
Job Summary
Lake Highland’s Aquatics Program seeks an Aquatics Club Associate Head Coach & High School Varsity Swim Team Assistant Coach to assist in mentoring and developing swimmers within a high-performance USA Swimming environment, while supporting facility scheduling and daily operations. This role emphasizes technical excellence and athlete motivation, helping each swimmer reach their full potential. Other functions include, but are not limited to, teaching Physical Education classes at the pool; assisting in pool operations; and maintaining software updates, scoreboard, and communication boxes, to name several. This is a full-time, fully benefited, exempt, 12-month position.
About the Role
This role involves working closely with athletes to improve their swimming techniques and performance, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals. The coach will also be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the pool, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining equipment and facilities.
Responsibilities
- Mentor and develop swimmers within a high-performance USA Swimming environment
- Assist in pool operations
- Maintain software updates, scoreboard, and communication boxes
- Teach Physical Education classes at the pool
- Support facility scheduling and daily operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- First Aid/CPR/AED, Coaches Safety Training, and USA Swimming certifications required
- A minimum of three years of coaching experience at the club, high school, or collegiate level required
