Aquatic Specialist II, Water Polo - Athletics

Position Details

• Tuesdays, 6:00 AM - 7:30 AM
• Wednesdays, 6:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Saturdays, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• One (1) year of recent waterpolo coaching experience and/or equivalent experience
• Water Safety Instructor certification and/or equivalent experience
• Have/willing to obtain necessary USA Waterpolo Certifications
• Leadership experience preferred
• Positive, energetic and team oriented

Compensation

The minimum hourly rate for this position is $17.00/Hour. Compensation is commensurate with qualifications.

Punahou Aquatics is seeking a Aquatics Specialist II (Assistant Waterpolo Coach). The ideal candidate will work with students ranging from 12-18 years old that are in both the developmental and competitive phase of the sport. The position will require mornings and/or evening practices during the week as well as the possibility of working weekends. Responsibilities

• Work with students ranging from 12-18 years old that are in both the developmental and competitive phase of the sport
• Work mornings and/or evenings during the week as well as the possibility of working weekends

The ideal candidate will have a positive, energetic and team-oriented attitude, as well as a passion for waterpolo and the development of young athletes. They should also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to work effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
