Position: Group Exercise Instructor
Location: Seven Bridges Fitness Center - Woodridge, IL
Per Diem | Hours determined by program schedule
Hours: Tuesday 3pm to 8pm, Wednesday 5:00pm to 8:00pm
What You Will Do
Under minimal supervision, prepares and leads all levels of exercise classes designed to improve cardiovascular endurance, develop and improve muscle tone and improve the ability to perform activities of daily living.
In doing so, designs the class routines, selects appropriate music, instructs participants in proper form and techniques, and modifies class intensity and/or routine in order to address the needs of the healthy and/or special population participants.
What You Will Need
- Education: Requires a minimum of 2 years of high school level of education or higher.
- Certification:
- Aquatic Instructors must obtain ACE or AEA certification within first 6 month of employment.
- Aerobics Instructors must obtain ACE certification within first 6 months of employment.
- Special Population Instructors must obtain certification from a nationally recognized accrediting body acknowledged by EHFC or complete an in-house training program within first 5 months of employment.

Qualifications

- Ability to design class routines and select appropriate music
- Knowledge of CPR and current certification
