About the role
The Aquatic Fitness Instructor is responsible for leading aquatic fitness classes that promote physical health and wellness.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute aquatic fitness classes for various age groups and fitness levels.
- Ensure all participants are safe and comfortable in the water.
- Adapt exercises to accommodate different abilities and needs.
- Maintain a positive and encouraging environment for all participants.
Requirements
- A valid lifeguard certification.
- Experience teaching aquatic fitness classes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Physical Education, or related field.
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications.
Skills
- Strong swimming ability.
- Knowledge of aquatic exercise techniques.
- Ability to motivate and engage participants.
