Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow client relationships.
• Be the point of contact and lead on complex projects.
• Collaborate with Director of Engineering on resource management for assigned projects.
• Compile and write fee proposals and participate in project interviews.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget of assigned projects.
• Effectively coordinate schedules for all disciplines.
• Lead project kickoff meetings.
• Participate in site assessments and feasibility reports with or without support from our Renovation or Service teams.
• Represent Landmark Aquatics by attending client meetings and presentations.
• Design and engineer aquatic systems for new installations, system retrofits, system replacement, and system upgrades.
• Manage aquatic design projects from preliminary design through construction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license preferred.
• 5-10+ years of significant project experience with an emphasis on commercial aquatic design projects.
• Demonstrated technical proficiency in several of our aquatic focus areas: pumping systems, filtration systems, water heating and chilling systems, chemical treatment and monitoring systems, energy modeling, and cost-benefit analysis.
• Strong understanding of public health codes relating to swimming pools, spas, and splash pads, and building codes.
• Project Management experience required.
• Self-starter who is comfortable working with high levels of autonomy.
• Proficient in the use of technology including smartphones, tablets, and laptops, and comfortable using software such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and cloud-based systems.
• Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Travel up to 10%.
