Aquatic Attendant
About the role
The Dimond Park Aquatic Center is hiring an Aquatic Attendant to assist with a variety of clerical duties and monitor guest safety and satisfaction during party activities. This position may also monitor and control traffic on water slides and enforce safety rules. The Aquatic Attendant will provide first aid as required.
Responsibilities
- Cash handling and maintaining/rectifying a cash drawer
- Using a computer to operate the point of sales software
- Answering phones, directing calls, and taking messages
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lobby area, lost and found items, and event rooms
- Assisting guests in obtaining first aid
- Assisting guests with questions about the pool schedule, programs, and making reservations
- Monitoring slide users to ensure safe practices are maintained
Requirements
Must obtain First Aid and CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
Qualifications
Individuals who enjoy working with the public and understand the importance of aquatics in the community are preferred. This job can be fast-paced, dealing with a large influx of customers during busy open swims, but also has downtime where employees will be expected to tidy and organize their work area.

Schedule
This position works out of the Dimond Park Aquatic Center and hours vary as the facility is open seven days a week, opening as early as 5:30am and closing after 8pm.
