Aquarium and Aviary Service Technician

About the role

Serenity Aquarium & Aviary Services is seeking an energetic and qualified individual to join our team. This entry-level position involves servicing fish aquariums and bird aviaries in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The role is part-time, with typical business hours of 8am to 7pm, though hours may vary from month to month.

Responsibilities

• Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks

• Respond to calls, emails, faxes to take care of customer needs
• Able to make an efficient work schedule
• Manage service cycle for customer base

Requirements

• Experience in fish keeping and/or bird keeping preferred
• Great attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to continually adjust priorities to match the business need
• Strong work ethic along with being on time and maintaining good attendance
• Ability to successfully communicate and contribute in a team-oriented environment
• Must have the ability to comprehend and follow instructions and to read and write in English
• Preference given to candidates with mechanical aptitude
• Able to travel in your service area radius
• Heavy lifting and maneuvering is required
• Flexibility is a must!
• High School education is required
• Driver’s License and vehicle insurance required
