APRN/PA- Taylor Regional Surgical Assc.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients, obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order/diagnose tests.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
• Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients within the scope of practice.
• Assist physicians with surgical procedures and office-based procedures as appropriate.
• Perform procedures within the APRN’s education, training, certification, and scope of practice.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, procedures, and follow-up care.

Requirements

• Master's degree in nursing with an emphasis on nurse practitioner.
• Valid Kentucky RN and APRN license.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of APRN experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above.
