Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients, obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, and order/diagnose tests.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients within the scope of practice.
- Assist physicians with surgical procedures and office-based procedures as appropriate.
- Perform procedures within the APRN’s education, training, certification, and scope of practice.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, procedures, and follow-up care.
Requirements
- Master's degree in nursing with an emphasis on nurse practitioner.
- Valid Kentucky RN and APRN license.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of APRN experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above.

- Visual acuity to assess patient conditions and review medical records.
