Key Responsibilities
- Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform neurological physical examinations.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with neurological disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Order, perform, and interpret appropriate diagnostic and laboratory tests.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Collaborate with neurologists, primary care providers, therapists, nurses, and other specialists to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding neurological conditions, medications, treatment options, disease prevention, and lifestyle modifications.
- Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within the APRN scope of practice and state regulations.

What We’re Looking For
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited APRN program.
- Current Kentucky APRN license (or eligibility).
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of APRN experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above is preferred.
