Apprenticeship Specialist

About the role

The MAMC Apprenticeship Specialist supports program clients in obtaining training, industry‑recognized certifications, apprenticeship and pre‑apprenticeship opportunities, and academic degrees that best align with their career goals. The position is part of MAMC’s Workforce Development Team and reports directly to the Apprenticeship Unit Director. Work is primarily based out of the South Charleston facilities with some travel required.

Responsibilities

• Support program clients in obtaining training, industry‑recognized certifications, apprenticeship and pre‑apprenticeship opportunities, and academic degrees aligned with career goals.
• Plan, customize, and implement skills programs, apprenticeships, and pre‑apprenticeships for individuals, schools, and businesses to meet in‑demand training needs.
• Work closely with the MAMC Workforce Development Team to coordinate program delivery.
