Apprenticeship Programs Consultant
About the role
The California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) is seeking an experienced Apprenticeship Programs Consultant to join the Workforce Development Division. This role involves coordinating with other CalHR divisions and partnering organizations, providing subject matter expertise and technical guidance, evaluating statewide and departmental data, and developing and delivering training.

Requirements
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of progressively responsible experience in human resources or a closely related field.
Qualifications
Experience in managing multiple complex projects and work streams, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences are desirable.
Skills
Knowledge of laws, rules, policies, and practices related to human resources and labor relations in state government, strong verbal communication skills, and ability to deliver presentations are essential.

Pay
The starting salary range is $6,623.00 - $8,290.00 per month.
Schedule
This is a hybrid position, with employees required to work in-person at least four days per week in alignment with Executive Order N-22-25. Additional in-office days may be required based on operational needs.
