APPRENTICESHIP AS AN OPERATING ENGINEER
About the role
Each year at this time we notify appropriate agencies and interested parties regarding our application period for the 2026‑2027 apprenticeship as an Operating Engineer. Applications are done by appointment only; walk‑ins are not allowed. To schedule an appointment, email office@local4training.org. You must provide your driver’s license to verify you live within the jurisdiction (see www.local4training.org for jurisdiction details). After your request is received you will receive a confirmation email with your date and time. You will not be allowed in the building without an appointment and a driver’s license – no exceptions. Allow enough time to stay for a presentation prior to receiving the application. Applications will not leave the building and will only be given to the person who has an appointment, shows a valid driver’s license and Social Security card.
