Apprentice to Board Certified Behavior Analyst

About the role

Colorado Autism Consultants is seeking apprentices to support individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities. The program is designed for those aspiring to become Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) or Licensed Professional Counselors (LPC).

Responsibilities

• Engage in a skills training program under the guidance of a BCBA or LPC supervisor.
• Work closely with clients to provide ABA therapy and support.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and educational opportunities.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• A bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
• Commitment to pursuing master’s coursework in a related field.
• Reliable transportation.
• A strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
• Clear felony background check and previous employment verification.
• The ability to lift 50 pounds, twist, kneel, and engage in active physical play with children.
• A valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance.

Qualifications

• An active RBT certification (preferred).
• A degree in psychology, education, human services, or a related field (preferred).
• Current enrollment in BCBA or LPC coursework (preferred).

Pay

RBTs who are enrolled in or finished with BCBA coursework: $21-$26 per hour.
