About the role
We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Plumber to join our commercial mechanical construction team. This position offers hands-on training and career growth under the guidance of experienced Journeyman and Master Plumbers on large-scale commercial projects such as schools, hospitals, and industrial buildings.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation of piping systems including water, gas, drainage, and vent lines.
- Learn to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications.
- Carry, measure, and cut pipe to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Follow all company and job site safety protocols.
- Attend and actively participate in training and apprenticeship classes.
- Take direction and constructive feedback to build technical skills and trade knowledge.
Requirements
- Enrolled in or willing to enroll in a state-approved plumbing apprenticeship program.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
- Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of job site safety and compliance.
- Reliable transportation to various job sites.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, climb ladders, and work in varying conditions.
