Apprentice Plumber

About the role
Roto-Rooter provides an initial 12 weeks of paid training plus continual training in our plumbing school. You’ll earn while you learn the trade, and we’ll guide you through the plumber licensing process to help you advance. This position is paid on a commission basis with a guaranteed minimum hourly rate, averaging between $60,000-$120,000 per year. Pay increases quickly with each year of experience.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose plumbing and drain issues and provide cost estimates to customers.
- Perform necessary repairs for customers.
- Document estimates and invoices, both in writing and on a provided smartphone.
- Collect payment and proceed to the next service call.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Mechanical aptitude is desirable, but prior plumbing experience is not necessary.
