What You Will Be Doing

• Performs the work of the occupation and other pertinent duties as assigned
• Affords assistance and training alongside other staff in the assigned occupation to ensure duties are carried out efficiently and accurately
• Attends related technical instruction classes and on-the-job training to learn the basics of the occupation and completes the required hours
• Adheres to Health and Safety Regulations
• Develops and practices safe working habits and works in such a manner as to assure his/her personal safety and that of other workers
• Respects the property of the employer and complies with all rules, regulations and policies of the participating employer
• Maintains accurate records of work experience (OJT)
• Adheres to the Apprenticeship Agreement which shall set forth the terms and conditions of employment, and the Standards of Apprenticeship and any additional written rules and policies of the Program Sponsor
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You Need to Succeed

• A High School Diploma or GED equivalent from a regionally accredited institution and must be admitted for enrollment into Miami Dade College
• Must be able to comprehend instructions on the job and in related training classes
• All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
