Apprentice Electrician

Job Type Full-time Description Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a trusted regional provider of skilled trade services, specializing in commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and electrical services. We are seeking an Apprentice Electrician to support commercial new construction and tenant improvement projects. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including overnight shifts, and the ability to travel for extended assignments as needed. Schedule Sunday through Thursday 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of electrical conduit and raceway systems, including EMT, PVC, MC cable, flexible conduit, RMC, and other wiring methodsPull, route, secure, and label electrical wiring and cables under the direction of a Journeyman or ForemanAssist with the installation of electrical panels, junction boxes, switches, receptacles, lighting fixtures, and other electrical componentsRead and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings with guidance to complete installations accuratelySafely operate hand tools, power tools, ladders, and jobsite equipment while following company safety policies and OSHA regulationsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and assist with material handling, inventory, and jobsite preparationAssist with troubleshooting electrical systems and correcting installation issues under the supervision of experienced electriciansMay perform other jobsite related duties assigned by the foreman Requirements A minimum of two years of experience in commercial constructionAvailability to work third shifts or overnight scheduleAbility to perform physical work throughout the shift, including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, walking, squatting, and ascending or descending stairsComfortable working in confined spaces, at heights (including lifts), and in inclement weather About The Company Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a commercial service and construction company with over 20 years of experience delivering high-quality electrical and plumbing solutions across California and other states.
