Apprentice Electrician
About the role
CARJON Air Conditioning & Heating is expanding its electrical division and seeks motivated Apprentice Electricians (1st through 4th year) to join their team. The company offers hands-on experience, strong mentorship, and a clear path for growth in the HVAC industry.
Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman and Master Electricians with HVAC system installations and repairs
- Help run electrical wiring for A/C units, furnaces, heat pumps, and other HVAC equipment
- Perform basic troubleshooting, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems
- Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Maintain a clean and safe job site while delivering excellent customer service
- Participate in training to advance your skills and license progression
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Currently enrolled or registered as a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year Apprentice Electrician
- Valid driver's license with a clean, insurable record
- Physical ability to lift 75+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders
- Strong work ethic and desire to grow in the HVAC trade
- Color vision (required for working with electrical wiring)

Qualifications

Strong physical abilities are also required, including the capacity to lift 75+ lbs, work in confined spaces, and climb ladders. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential, along with color vision necessary for working with electrical wiring.
Skills

Pay
$23.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience and year of apprenticeship
Schedule
A stable Monday-Friday schedule with occasional overtime.
