About the role

The Apprentice Electrical Power Technician position at HOLT CAT is responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems within various industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of electrical power systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure optimal performance
• Document work activities and report findings to supervisors
• Participate in safety meetings and follow all safety protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical systems preferred but not required
• Interest in industrial machinery and technology
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Skills

• Basic understanding of electrical theory
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Proficiency in using hand tools and basic measuring instruments
