Apprentice Distribution Lineworker

About The Role

Salary - $79,355 per annum (plus Super)

As a Distribution Lineworker Apprentice, you'll maintain and upgrade the poles and wires that power homes and businesses across the state. Working towards

• Learn both on the job and in the classroom
• Work alongside experienced Lineworkers and industry experts
• Develop practical skills using industry-leading equipment and technology
• Help maintain and build Tasmania's distribution network
• Receive ongoing support, coaching and feedback as you develop your skills

About You

• Motivated and passionate about building your career whilst making a meaningful difference in your community
• The ability to work towards completion of the relevant trade Certificate, adhere to health, safety and environmental practices in the workplace, possess strong communication skills and be able to build positive relationships with peers, leaders and our customers
• Physically fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical examination and hold a current provisional drivers' licence by commencement date in February 2027
• Completed Year 12 and passed Maths, English and preferably a Science subject, OR completed pre-vocational studies in Certificate II in Electrotechnology (or equivalent) OR have relevant work experience to be eligible
