About the Role
Performs preventive maintenance and installs minor/routine parts on all types of HVAC equipment under general supervision. Installs HVAC equipment and other appliances as needed. Completes preventive maintenance tasks, including cleaning.
Responsibilities
- Perform residential heating or air conditioning tune-ups.
- Maintain tools, supplies, and equipment (e.g., torches, cutters, drills, test equipment, filters, control components, fan blades, gaskets, seals) to ensure availability and safe operating condition.
- Manage and maintain appropriate inventory to ensure availability of required parts and equipment.
- Request equipment and supplies to maintain inventory levels.
- Work independently and demonstrate strong customer communication skills.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Proficient ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Familiarity with electronic equipment, including computers, for queries and accurate data entry.
- Demonstrated knowledge and competency in the operation, service, and use of HVAC systems, equipment, and related components.

- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to low.
Pay
Hourly pay range: $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
