About the role

This newly created Apprentice Accountant role, based in our office in Hale, Greater Manchester, will enable the successful candidate to achieve an AAT L4 qualification with the potential to go on and study further to become a Chartered Accountant.

A L4 AAT Accounting Technician (Apprentice Accountant) supports the finance function by maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with day-to-day accounting activities. Key responsibilities include bookkeeping, accounting, auditing, and tax preparation. The role requires the ability to manage a full-time job alongside periods of intense study. Requirements

  • A minimum of 7 good GCSE grades (9-6), including both Maths and English language at the highest levels (8/9).
  • A minimum of 2 A-levels at grade A/A* (one of which must be Maths).
  • High level of numeracy and literacy.
  • Excellent organisational skills and consistent, accurate, and analytical working methods.
  • Effective time management and strong communication skills.
  • High level of attention to detail.
