APPOINTED ONLY - Nutrition Services Assistant I
About the role
This position supports the nutrition services department within Modesto City Schools. The role involves assisting with meal preparation, serving, and managing food service operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and serving
- Manage food service operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements / Qualifications
- A High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) certificate, or California High School Proficiency Examination (CHSPE) certificate is required
- Sufficient physical ability, strength, mobility and stamina to lift 35 pounds and to push or pull up to 75 pounds on a rolling rack or cart

Pay
The salary range for this position is $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
