Applied Technology Academic Program Navigator
About the role
The Academic Program Navigator serves as an embedded member of CTE trades and technology programs and provides coordinated support for students across the full college journey, including recruitment, onboarding, advising, retention, and completion.
Responsibilities
- Develops expertise in the assigned academic program, including curriculum pathways, course sequencing, transfer opportunities, career outcomes, and related college resources.
- Works closely with faculty, the program dean, and student service areas to combine direct student advising with program coordination responsibilities.
- Serves as a bridge between instruction and student services by helping students navigate academic systems while also contributing to the daily operations and vitality of the program.
Requirements
This position requires a strong commitment to serving diverse students and fostering an inclusive environment. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and experience working with students in higher education settings. Knowledge of the assigned academic program and experience with student success initiatives are preferred.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to build relationships with students, faculty, and staff, and a passion for supporting student success. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with college management systems is beneficial.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The Academic Program Navigator works a standard 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday.
