Ampcus Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Applied Scientist III to join our talented team. Applied scientists at Ampcus are specialists with deep expertise in areas such as machine learning, speech recognition, natural language processing, computer vision, knowledge acquisition, etc. They apply scientific principles in their area of expertise and related fields to assess the feasibility and timeline of new initiatives requiring significant inventions, develop new algorithms or enhance existing algorithms for significantly improving the customer experience/impact, and are externally aware of the state-of-the-art in their respective field of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Assess the feasibility and timeline of new initiatives requiring significant inventions.
• Develop new algorithms or enhance existing algorithms for significantly improving the customer experience/impact.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in their field of expertise.

Requirements

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in applied science or a related field.
• Strong understanding of machine learning, speech recognition, natural language processing, computer vision, and knowledge acquisition.
• Experience with developing and enhancing algorithms to improve customer experience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Benefits

Ampcus offers a competitive compensation package including a starting rate of $70 - $75 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits.
