Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should:
- Have a strong background in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Be proficient in open-source languages and have hands-on experience with AI foundation models and solutions.
- Have a deep understanding of AI methodologies and experience with large deep learning models.
- Be able to engage in high-impact applied research and lead projects autonomously.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently obtained a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, AI, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Experience in building large deep learning models and working with technologies like Pytorch, AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, Lightning, VectorDBs, etc.
- Track record of delivering models at scale in terms of training data and inference volumes.
- Experience in delivering libraries, platform-level code, or solution-level code to existing products.
- A proven track record of generating high-quality ideas or improving upon existing ideas in machine learning.
- Ability to choose impactful research problems and carry out long-term projects independently.
Skills

- Technical proficiency in AI methodologies and technologies.

Pay
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location:
- Cambridge, MA: $218,700 - $249,600
