About the role

The Applied Research and Development GEOINT Engineer is responsible for conducting advanced research and development in geospatial intelligence technologies. This role involves analyzing complex data sets, developing innovative solutions, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts research on emerging geospatial intelligence technologies and trends.
  • Develops and implements new algorithms and models for data analysis.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to integrate GEOINT capabilities into operational systems.
  • Writes technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geospatial Intelligence, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in GEOINT or related fields.
  • Experience with geospatial data analysis tools and software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field preferred.
  • Knowledge of geospatial intelligence standards and protocols.
  • Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages.
  • Experience with GIS software such as ArcGIS or QGIS.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
