Applied AI Engineer at Lamp of life foundation Location: Remote - United States Job Type: Full Time Salary: $105,000-$115,000 per year About The Role The Applied AI Engineer will support development and operation of AI or machine-learning systems through data preparation, model evaluation, integration, testing, monitoring, and technical documentation. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain components used in applied AI or machine-learning workflows.Create reliable data-preparation and evaluation steps so model behavior can be tested consistently.Measure output quality and investigate cases where results are inaccurate, unstable, or outside expected behavior.Assist with deployment, service integration, and production support for AI-enabled systems.Track operational signals and help diagnose performance or reliability issues after release.Maintain technical records that make experiments, model changes, and system behavior traceable. Qualifications Practical familiarity with Python, Machine Learning, and Model Evaluation.Consistent accuracy when working with AI Systems and Data Pipelines.Clear written communication and disciplined documentation habits.Ability to manage assigned work, deadlines, and follow-up without making unsupported assumptions.Comfort coordinating remotely through shared systems and written communication.
