Applications Systems Analyst, FT, ON SITE

About the role

The Applications Systems Analyst role is to strategically facilitate the organization’s application needs including but not limited to support of the MEDITECH system, assist in resolving application issues as they arise from day to day, and assist Information Technology support technicians as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensure applications are available to end users, accurate, and thoroughly tested.
• Aid in system startups in a timely and accurate manner.
• Provide support to other departments as required.

Requirements

• Minimum three years of experience with computer operations/operating systems and/or software applications preferred.
• Solid working knowledge of current technologies.
• Hands-on software troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.

• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
• Prior proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Adept at conducting research into software-related issues and products.

Schedule

The incumbent is responsible for one shift, five days per week. They are subject to overtime, on-call duty, and call back as required by the organization.

Physical Effort

Works in well-lighted, air-conditioned office. Some travel is required.
