Hybrid$50k–$150k/yrFull-time

The Signatry is a donor advised fund (DAF) sponsor and a Christian ministry seeking to build the kingdom of God by inspiring world-changing generosity. We believe generosity is the heart of the gospel, driving us to equip people to lead generous lives that reflect the image of God. Through prayer and generosity, we work together to solve the world’s greatest problems and spread the hope of the gospel. Donor advised funds are the primary tools we use for this kingdom work.

About the Role

The Applications Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, integration, and lifecycle health of The Signatry's business systems portfolio, with primary focus on our Foundation Management Solution (FMS) platform. This role ensures reliable end-user service from managed-service partners, maintains the configuration and license posture of our SaaS and platform stack, and coordinates change and renewal cycles for business-critical platforms. The position works closely with department leads, end users, and technology partners to balance operational stability with continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day administration of 4–8 business systems including 1–2 designated business-critical platforms (e.g., FMS, CRM, identity, ticketing), maintaining configuration, access, license, and lifecycle records across the stack.
  • Coordinate with 2–3 managed service providers on routine support, change requests, and incident resolution; track partner SLA performance and escalate to the Director, Technology Operations when needed.
  • Recommend license, renewal, configuration, and vendor decisions within an annual operating envelope of approximately $50K–$150K, partnering with the Director, Technology Operations on contract renewals and capacity planning.
  • Provide end-user support and training in coordination with department heads, serving as the first point of contact for system issues.
  • Lead and coordinate technical aspects of platform releases and upgrades, including testing schedules, change communication, and rollback planning.
  • Own the enhancement request workflow—gathering requirements from department leads, coordinating internal approval, submitting enhancements to FMS for evaluation, and tracking all requests through development, testing, deployment, and completion.
  • Support The Signatry’s data privacy and security initiatives by maintaining strong access controls, audit logs, and configuration baselines across the platform portfolio.

Qualifications

  • Alignment with The Signatry values and statement of faith.
  • Strong, detail-oriented multi-tasker that consistently meets deadlines.
  • Process-driven, with the ability and desire to learn new systems.
  • Proactive approach to problem solving, with an eye towards efficiency and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to inexperienced users using graphs, infographics, or other visualization techniques.
  • Familiar with SaaS lifecycle management, license administration, and configuration documentation.
  • Prior exposure to financial systems, transaction processing, investment reconciliation, or asset management is a strong plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft O365, ticketing or ITSM tooling, and cloud-based SaaS administration; CRM configuration experience preferred.
  • 3–5 years in system administration, IT support, or SaaS configuration.
  • Understanding of system lifecycles, change management practices, and processes for managing a technology solution (programming knowledge is not required).
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or Technology field is preferred; equivalent experience may substitute.
  • A servant’s heart, with an appreciation for internal and external relationship building.

Success Metrics

  • Platform reliability and performance – The systems stay up and running; problems get fixed quickly.
  • Enhancement request management – Requests are tracked from start to finish with nothing falling through the cracks.
  • Vendor and partner relationships – Partners deliver what they promise; issues get escalated and resolved on time.
  • License and renewal accuracy – Licenses are tracked; renewal dates never get missed.
  • Data security and access controls – User access is controlled properly; sensitive donor data is protected.
  • User support and communication – Team members get fast help when they need it; rollouts are communicated clearly.

Schedule

This is a full-time, hybrid in-office/WFH role with a strong preference for candidates located in the Kansas City area.
